Oscar and Julieta’s family likes to wake-up early in the morning to do the daily household chores, ensuring the house always remains clean and tidy. While both Oscar and Julieta are now retired, throughout the day, they keep very busy with watching their wonderful grandchildren. Besides that, they both enjoy hosting friends and family, especially to play bingo and other games. In addition, they love to celebrate birthdays and holidays with all those who they love.
Notably, Oscar is very passionate about marine conservation and environmental protection. He is also proud to say that both him and his partner, Julieta, are a member of People and the Sea, which supports much of the previous advocacy he has done throughout his life. As a retired fisherman, Oscar has a deep knowledge and appreciation of the ocean, as well as all of the animals and creatures that are within it, prompting his care and concern for the future of the water. Julieta also shares a similar enthusiasm for the environment, spending much of her time cleaning up debris from the beach.

No preference in guests
Oscar and Julieta’s home is located right on the ocean, so for those travelers looking to hang out on the beach, this is a perfect location. Also, several dive shops are just a couple of minutes walk away, making it perfect for beach-goers and divers alike. The house is a traditional Philippine house, but guests will find the bedroom to be modern and airy. Inside the bedroom, there is tile floors, and since it is a corner room, there are double windows, letting in maximum amounts of natural light. Besides that, travelers will enjoy the ocean view from the room, which also lets in a delightful sea breeze when sleeping. The communal areas of the home are very spacious, making it an ideal spot to socialize with Oscar and Julieta’s family. In addition, a newly redone bathroom can be found near the living room. When guests want to relax, they should be sure to make use of hammock located in the garden!
Thanks for a lot of pancit on the Sundays, and all your joy
My stay with Kuya Oscar and Ate Jolita was the perfect welcome to Malapascua. We are able to share all things important to us. I looked forward to going home at end of the night.
Perfect – Thanks Oscar.
